The MCV C107 EV is a fully electric city bus that is highly tailored to customer needs.

The cooled, high-performance lithium-ion batteries with efficient NMC chemistry (Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide) are modularly built and crash-safe, mounted on the roof (optionally four to five battery packs, from 308 kWh up to a maximum of 385 kWh). An active battery balancing system ensures optimal efficiency and readiness of the batteries.

The extremely robust yet lightweight construction of the MCV C107 EV, made of solid stainless steel, ensures a pleasant, safe, and above all, quiet driving experience — all while operating emission-free. Even in the colder months, the MCV C107 EV meets these demands thanks to an all-electric heating system combined with a CO₂ heat pump featuring complex thermal management, along with an additional purely electric heater.

The bus is powered by a centrally-mounted permanent-magnet synchronous motor, which drives a conventional portal axle from ZF, delivering up to 250 kW and a maximum torque of 3,000 Newton meters.
This ten-meter low-floor vehicle impresses with its high degree of compliance with VDV (Association of German Transport Companies) guidelines and comes with several interesting features, such as an open data interface according to VDV 238, and an ergonomically designed driver’s workplace with numerous storage and shelving options. This offers the highest levels of comfort and adjustability.
Highly readable and intuitively understandable digital instruments convey the future-proof nature of the concept just as much as the standard camera-based mirror replacement system, which ensures excellent all-around visibility even at night.
